What is the City?

The City is a place where we engage with our entire church body, our groups, God's word and with the world around us. The City is a place where we communicate and encourage one another to better answer our spiritual challenge– to follow well, to love well, and to serve well.

Why are we using it?

We use The City to interact together! It is a resource that can enhance, encourage, extend, and express real relationships NOT virtual ones. Our groups use The City to interactively communicate prayer requests, opportunities, and share ideas. Our church uses The City to communicate news, events, and to interact around ideas and teaching that our schedules and locations might otherwise prevent.

Do I have to use the City?

YES PLEASE! We urge you to join The City because it is a primary way for connecting with the community we call, “Faith.” The City is NOT a substitute for personal fellowship. It is an essential supplement for building our community.

I only do email, why should I join the City?

Even if all you "do" is email, please join The City! That way, you will be notified through your own email account of upcoming opportunities, events, and communications. You don't have to do anything different... just continue to check your email. In the event that you want to respond you can reply to the email just as you do now. (Of course, I hope you will, eventually, be enticed to "tour" the City and begin to participate

How do I join the City?

he City is open to anyone over 13 who attends Faith Community or is a member of one of our groups. You may enroll in The City through an invitation from your Group Leader or by stopping by the Welcome Table after our worship gatherings.

(By the way-- the minimum age is a Federal law not our rule!)

What is the desired result of The City?

The City equips us to connect every day of the week so that we will know each other better, better care for each other and better serve Jesus.
