I met my wife, Shirley, in the nursery at the Whittier Foursquare Church. After getting married, we found we were born in the same hospital and delivered by the same doctor. (no we are not brother and sister.) Shirley and I have two daughters and 5 grandkids. I am a committed Christian and have been a part of our congregation since 1995. I retired from GE in 2008, after 37 years. GE moved me to San Diego in 1993, to oversee the design, construction and installation of automated propulsion control systems on a group of US Navy ships, built here at NASSCO, in San Diego. Though officially retired, I still support these same ships through my own consulting company. I first started leading groups building homes in Mexico in 1998. Since then, I have lead groups from our congregation that have built 44 homes for the poor in Tijuana and Ensenada, MX.
