Stories connect the head with the heart. It is instructive that Jesus chosen method to reveal the Kingdom of God was thru stories. Stories link what we believe to how we act. In that vein, the Movie Group has a couple of objectives: 1) understand and analyze the cultural messages that the best movies portray and 2) have fun doing it. One of our goals is to achieve some greater understanding of our own lives and how we live them for Christ in this world.

On the LAST Friday of the month, at around 7pm, we go see a first run movie and then retire to a local eatery to discuss the movie we just watched. To paraphrase an old quote "A good story, well told, is a joy to watch." Come join us. Meet some new folks, learn something about yourself, (maybe) learn something about the Kingdom and do it in a fresh and creative way.
