Welcome to Children's Ministry!

I would like to welcome you to Faith Community and the Ministry to Children and Family! Out Children's Ministry serves children from nursery through 6th grade and their families. This is a place where kids are welcomed, loved, and valued. Out ministry is energetic, upbeat, caring, and fun because we are serious about providing children with excellent and rewarding opportunities that will encourage their spiritual growth. Let me quickly answer two questions I am frequently asked:

What will my child(ren) experience when they come? Your children will:

• Gather with all the kids for a time of upbeat music that praises God
• participate in active learning activities base on the Bible,
• engage in thoughtful discussions and
• play interactive games
• make new friends
• be part of a caring network and extended family
• learn the importance of prayer
• experience a safe and clean environment
• and... they will have fun too!

We believe this recipe will help them grown in their relationship with Jesus, build healthy relationships at home and with their peers, and make a difference in their world.

Who are our teachers and how do you select them? Our teachers are men and women from our church who share my passion and love for children. We are committed to building leaders who will:
• love children
• lead them to Jesus
• listen to them in an effort to meet their needs and
• learn from them

These leaders are personally recruited, intentionally trained, and have voluntarily permitted criminal background checks in order to ensure the safety of your children and to provide excellence in everything we do. We expect our children's leaders to be role models who support the parent's responsibility teachings as the child begins his or her steps towards independence. (Matthew 18:1-6, 10)
