We are a simple church
Welcome to our website! We are a simple community composed of people seeking to follow Jesus and build authentic friendships. We are learning that genuine friendships built around community cultivate belonging, grace, strength, confidence, and joy. Our hope is that we might draw closer to God and that we might love and serve our city and county. We are in our 6th year of our life together and are learning what kind of fellowship God is calling us to be. I hope we have a chance to meet!
Our spiritual challenge is simple:
to follow well...
to serve well...
to love well...
All 4 Gospels quotes Jesus' words, "Follow me." (Matthew 4.19; Mark 1.17; Luke 5.27; John 1.43). Matthew, Mark, and Luke all record Jesus' teaching on serving (Matthew 22.37-39; Mark 12-29-31; Luke 10.26-29) and loving (Matthew 20.25-29; Mark 10.43-45; Luke 22.25-27)... John gives us many examples.
So our challenge is also our journey... how do you follow? You follow! How do you serve God and others? You serve! How do you love God and others? You love!
Our vision and journey is also our priority for life as we ask ourselves 3 questions: If I make this decision am I following Jesus well? If I make this decision am I loving God/others well? If I make this decision am I serving God/others well?
Our challenge is simple because our vision, our journey, and our priorities can all be described using the same words...To follow well, love well, and serve well is important to us because in these words we hear Jesus' challenge to focus outward that we might love and serve others in our city and county.
Our life together is simple
We are a community organized around worship and relationships. We connect through groups-some small, some larger, and some big! These groups provide diverse and wide-ranging possibilities that might be life-changing. Here you will find opportunities that range from prayer, worship, and bible-study to music groups, digital photography, cycling, and quilting - just a small sample! We also have groups for children (see info on Children's ministries), youth, and college... You can click here for more information about Groups @ Faith.
We gather for worship and teaching Saturdays @ 6 PM followed by a café and Sunday mornings @ 10.00 AM and everyday around our city and county in various groups!
We are all eager to welcome you!
