Happy New Year!
We will all start the new year as "2012 beginners" and all of us will enter the year not knowing with certainty what the next 12 months hold. No matter how 2011 ended for you, we can all enter 2012 together with a confidence that God is with us... therefore, 2012 is alive with possibilities that spring forth from the unmeasurable grace that is God's love and presence amongst us.This Weekend @ Faith
Jesus: the Lord of Mercy: "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” A blind man cried out these words despite the fact that a crowd was repeatedly judging him, and trying to shut him up. Come and discover how to stay focused on receiving the mercy of Jesus Christ in the face of the condemning voices of others.
This is part of our series, Jesus Then and Now.
Jesus is unique. Over the years His followers have confessed that:
He is greater than any ruler.
He is mightier than any warrior.
He is nobler than any king.
He is wiser than any sage.
He is bigger than any kingdom.
He is better than any crown.
His name is lovelier than any other name.
Throughout time His people have professed that He is worthy of worship and He is deserving of our praise. No wish could be higher; no desire more sincere; and no goal more rewarding. What better way to begin the year than to focus on the person, power, promise, and presence of Jesus as the Gospels revealed Him then and as He reveals Himself now.
This Saturday @ Faith worship begins @ 6 PM in the Worship Center. We have an "unplugged" time of worship in song, followed by teaching and dessert. Children's ministry is available for Nursery through 6th grade...
This Sunday @ Faith worship begins @ 10:00 AM in the Worship Center... Opportunities for children (nursery - 6th grade) and middle school are available. High school students remain in our worship gathering... Bagels and coffee follow our worship gathering so stick around and connect.
I am confident that if you visit us you will discover that there is a place for you here!
Happy 2012! I hope you will join us for one of our gathering this weekend and I hope we have a chance to meet...
